Last Blog Post Of 8th Grade Technology
This is the last blog post that I will ever make as an 8th grader in Mrs. Debolt's technology class. With just 3 days of school left until summer vacation starts, I will become a freshman in high school. I am sad that the year went by so quickly because I really liked all of my teachers that I have had in the past 9 months or so. At first, I didn't like some of my teachers. But now, I wish that the year hadn't gone by so fast. The class that I will miss the most is Mr. Kinder's health class because he makes school fun. All of the class discussions are easy to relate to, and Mr. K also relates a lot of his teaching's to his own real life experiences. I find this cool because I think that Mr. Kinder is an interesting person, from telling us about the people he has seen and the stories he has from the army.

This School Year
For me, this school year went by way to fast. It feels like this first day of school was just yesterday. Next year, I will be going into high school as a freshman, which I think is kind of exciting. With just 5 more days of school left, summer break is very close. This summer, my family is taking a trip to Florida, and I am very excited about it.

My Health Teacher
This week is teacher appreciation week. I appreciate my health teacher, Mr. Kinder. Mr. Kinder is a great teacher. He never gives us homework. A lot of times in class, we just have a class discussion on whatever it was that he was teaching that day. Another reason that I appreciate Mr. Kinder is because he makes class fun. He makes it fun by relating his teachings to some of his real life experiences, which are often very interesting. At the end of class everyday, we normally get to talk to each other, or have time to do our homework. Those are mt reasons that I appreciate my health teacher, Mr. Kinder.

Dissecting The Frog In Science
This week in science, we dissected a frog. While dissecting the frog, we had partners. My partner was Caleb. At first, we didn't do much with the frog. We cut the jaw open and looked at the different parts of the mouth, such as the different types of teeth and the tongue. The next day, Tuesday, we cut our frogs open and studied the digestive system. Me and Caleb discovered that our frog ate a beetle before it was killed. Then on Wednesday, yesterday, we studies the urogenital system, which consists of the reproductive organs, the liver, the kidney, and a few other organs. Once we were done studying the urogenital system, we got to further dissect the frog and just look at what ever we wanted to. By the end of science, my frog was just a pile of remains in a bag.

Photo Prompt
In my 4th hour technology class, we do photo prompts sometimes. In this picture, it looks like the boy that is flying has an ability to fly. I think that because the boy can fly, the other people below are jealous so they get mad at the boy. Another thing that this picture could mean is that some people have life better than others, and it angers the people who aren't the wealthiest. The picture that I am talking about is shown below.

My Day Yesterday
Yesterday, I did not have school. I sat around mostly playing Xbox 360. I was playing a game called Fallout New Vegas. When I got bored of playing Fallout, I decided to see is my friend Zach could hangout. I waited for a while to hear back from him and he told me he couldn't, so I decided to ride my bike. I rode all around my neighborhood and went to the next neighborhood over. By the time I returned home, is was about 6:00. I helped my dad make dinner, and then I played Xbox some more. My mom got home around 8:00 and took me to get my hair cut. We got home around 8:45 and I went to bed.

Earth Day
Earth day was yesterday. Many people did there part in keeping the Earth clean. I would help out by not littering. Another way I would help is to try to not use electricity for a day. Driving cars causes carbon monoxide to be put into the atmosphere. If I was old enough to drive, I would take a few days to walk or ride a bike so that I wouldn't be polluting the air.

Where I Would Like To Travel
If I could travel anywhere, I would want to travel to Florida. One reason I would want to travel to Florida is because of my friend. Last summer, my friend had to move in with his grandparents who live in Florida, so I want to visit him. Another reason that I would want to travel to Florida is the ocean. I have never seen the ocean before and I would really like to. The final reason that I would want to travel to Florida is because I like the warm weather. In June, my family is taking a trip to Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Those are the reasons that I would like to travel to Florida.

What Reward Motivates Me
When told you would be rewarded for doing something, it would motivate you to do it better. For me, being rewarded with money would motivate me to do something better. I don't like being rewarded with items, or getting gifts that are items, but money because if i decide that I want something later on, I would have the money to buy it. Being rewarded with money also gives you the opportunity to be able to go places if you want to. Those are my reasons that being rewarded with money motivates me more to do something.

Last Weekend
Last weekend, I spent the night at my friend Dylan's house. At around 10 'oclock, his dad picked me up. When i got there, I found out that Dylan wasn't even home yet. He was an hour away on his way home from a fishing trip. So I hung out with his dad for the next hour or so until Dylan got home at around 11. We played Xbox for the whole night. The next day, Sunday, we went to a car show. We were hanging out with some people we knew and had a fun. When the car show was over me, Dylan, Brandon, and his dad went to Imo's to get pizza. After we were done with our pizza, we went home and played Xbox until my mom picked me up around 6 o'clock.

Eating Healthy
I think that having a healthy diet is very important. Eating breakfast is important because it gives you the energy you need to make it through the day. Eating a healthy breakfast is important too. If you eat a sugar filled breakfast you won't get the nutrients you need. Eating fruits or vegetables can keep you healthy. Throughout the day, you should try replacing some of the unhealthy things you eat with healthier things.

If I Won The Lottery Right NowIf
If I won the lottery right now, there would be a few things a would do with the money. To start with, I would immediately put half of it into a savings account, just in case something happened and i needed money. Another thing I would do is build a house for myself. I don't want a huge mansion though. I plan on having a family when I am older, and I think a smaller house that is just big enough for my family would be just fine. I would buy a few cars too. I would want to buy a '69 Chevy Camaro and a '70 Mustang Boss. I would want to have a pool at my house also. With the rest of my money, I would buy the necessities to carry on life.

Ergonomics
Ergonomics are pains that can occur from bad habits youu may have in your work inviornment. Thing like how close to the moniter or your posture can cause pains. I have several bad habits that I have while working on the computer or playing video games. While on the computer, I sit slouched over and typically am close to the moniter. While playing video games, I sit 10 inches or so from the screen andsit slouched over.

Blurred Spot On Google Maps
I do think that some pictures on Google Maps should be blurred out. If a terrorist wants to find out about an area that is "Top Secret", thay can just look it up. If a terrorist knows where the place is, they can drop a big 'ole floppy nuke on the place. If a nuke was dropped on the place, then many people will be hurt. That is my reason for thinking that some images should be blurred out on Google Maps.

Dylan Is Gone
Last quarter, I had technology class with my friend Dylan. We had fun in that class. Once the quarter was over, we were supposed to have the same class together. Dylan hadn't told me that he had his schedule changed to FACS, so now I'm stuck talking to Dylan's annoying brother, Brandon. I guess me and Brandon have fun sometimes.

3rd Quarter In Mrs. Debolt's Class
In Mr.s Debolt's class this quarter, I learned a few things that will benefit me. I learned the proper way to type. When I'm older, typing could be an important skill that I need to know. Another thing I learned was all of the terms that are used when talking about computers. I really enjoyed this class because of the cool projects that we did. My favorite project was the "Me Movie". Another project I really enjoyed doing was the paint cartoon movie. In that project, we made a bunch of pictures in paint, and put them into a movie clip that only ended up to be about 15 seconds long. I am glad that I still have Technology class with Mrs. Debolt next quarter again.

Last Weekend
Last weekend, I spent the night at my friend's house. We walked around Crystal City for a while. While walking, we ran into some of our other friends. After that, we returned back to my friend's house. When we got there we played Xbox for the rest of the night. The next morning, I was extremely tired. My brother picked me up around 1:30. When I got home, I slept for the rest of the day.

Eiffel Tower
Many years ago, there was a horrible storm in Paris, France. The wind speeds were up around 250 mph. The wind was blowing extremely hard at the Eiffel Tower. After the storm had passed after three weeks of horrible weather, people started to come back outside. One the people of France started to come ouside, they noticed the Eiffel Tower had been badly damaged. In several different spots, the Eiffel Tower was bent in several different places.

The Fun Squad
On Xbox LIVE, I have a group of friends that I play with. There's Dylan, Zach, Michael, Matt, and I. We play Modern Warfare 3 together. Our group of friends decided that we should make ourselves a clan. We thought about what our clan name should be, and Zach had an idea. He said that we should call our clan the FUN Squad. We play Kill Confirmed, Infected, and many other game modes on Modern Warfare 3. The FUN Squad plays together all the time and have fun doing it.

The Cinnamon Challenge
Last Sunday, I spent the night at Dylan's house. We played Xbox 360 for most of the time. When me and Dylan got hungry, we went into the kitchen and there it was, a jar of cinnamon. We were messing around and the that it would be funny if I tried to keep a spoonful of it in my mouth. I got the cinnamon and put it in my mouth. At first, I didn't understand why people always say its so bad, until i tried to breath. I tried to stay cool but couldn't. I coughed and a big cloud of cinnamon came out of my mouth. After I did this, I then understood why everyone thinks the cinnamon challenge is so hard to do.

Physical Education
Physical Education is an important part of a student's school career. I believe it should be mandatory. I believe this because more and more students are making unhealthy decisions. Most of these students probably don't get the amount of exercise needed to carry on a healthy lifestyle. If Physical Education wasn't mandatory, more and more students could face the risks of obesity, which can cause complications with many important functions of the body, such as your heart. I think Physical Education should be mandatory.

MW3 With Dylan
Yesterday, me and Dylan decided we were going to play MW3 together on Xbox 360. We joined games and started our match in Sea Town. At first, since it was only me and Dylan, I didn't see anyone at all. I ran into a building in the middle of the map and he was there, sitting prone in the corner. He killed me and I re spawned on the other end of the map. I went back to get my revenge kill and he wasn't there. I ran around and eventually ran up a flight of stairs, and he was there. He killed me yet again. I re spawned in the middle of the map and I ran ahead. I ran out on a balcony and he was there. He had killed me three times in a row, I got mad and ended the game. We returned to the lobby leader board and ended up playing online with a bunch of kids we didn't know.

The Last Time Brandon Spent The Night
I have a friend named Brandon. I've known him since I was born. Brandon spent the night on New Year's eve of last year. We played Happy Wheels and watched T.V. mostly. When The countdown came on, we ran outside and screamed like wild people. Then, we skated for a while. When we were done, we went inside and ate Oreo ice cream.

Helping People Out
Helping people is an important part of life. Helping people is important because something serious could happen to them if you don't. One way I help people is helping kids in my school that are being picked on. Another way I help people is by assisting them in wny way they ask me to. Helping everyone makes the world a better, happier place.

Hailey And Molly
Before I was born, my family bought a dog. She was black and was named Molly. In 2004, Molly had a litter of puppies, and the runt was a small blonde dog. He was named Hailey because it was hailing outside when he was born. My grandpa wanted to buy a dog, so he bought Hailey. In 2006, my grandpa died in his sleep, which left us with Hailey again. For the next two years, we had both Molly and Hailey. Molly was diagnosed with diabetes and had to have a shot every single day. One day Molly wouldn't eat so she couldn't have her shot. Within a few days, she grew weaker and weaker until one morning, I was petting her and she took her last breath. After I woke my mom up, we spent the next four hours digging a hole in the woods, while it was raining. Now, I still have Hailey and he is the most annoying dog I have ever seen.

Build A Park
A park would be the more beneficial way to go. If a park is built, there would be a place for kids of all ages to play. From a toddler playing on the play ground, elementary kids playing on swings, to older kids playing football in a field, a park would be great for all. Having a park would bring down vandalism rates because things will not as easily be broken, such as a ball going through a glass window while playing on a street. If there is a lot of room to play, the chances of something like that happening are smaller. For smaller children, having a park would give them a safer place to play.

Where I'd Like To Travel
If I traveled anywhere in the world, I would probably want to go to London. I would like to go to London for a few reasons. To start with, I have read books that have a setting in London and it seems like it would be a cool place to go. Another reason I would like to travel to London it because of the many historic sites to see. Those are my reasons for wanted to go to London.

Molly
Before I was born, my family bought a Pomeranian and names her molly. Molly was black and had white paws with a white chin to go with it. When Molly was a puppy, she was very playful. She liked to play catch and attempted to play fetch, but she wasn't good at bringing the ball back. I had Molly all my life until she died in my arms in 2008.

My Friend Dylan
Dylan is a friend of mine and has been for around 13 years. Before we were born, our moms were friends. When we were around 3 years old, we were both enrolled at the Kids Campus pre-school. We continued to be friends as we grew older and went to the same school. Throughout school, me and Dylan have been in the same class. Now in eighth grade, me and Dylan have a few classes together. For example, he is at my side in technology class right now.
